About Our Surgeon:

Biography
Dr. Kinal was raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida “The Sunshine State”, where he spent a lot of his young years playing sports and fishing but he had a strong interest in science as well as medical studies and was a true academic. His keen interest in medicine began early with the influence of his mother Sandy who was dedicated to her career as a nurse. From a very young age, Dr. Kinal knew he wanted to be a Cosmetic Surgeon. All of his studies, education, training and time was spent focused on this specialized craft. Many talk about the ‘art’ of the surgery but its also very important to understand the technical precision, knowledge, training and quick thinking required of a highly skilled surgeon that is necessary to achieve the over-all optimal results in any surgery.
He had an inherent urge to help people and even through a hectic residency in some of LA’s busiest hospitals, patient care was always in the forefront of his concerns.
Nurse Sandy remained a driving force through the often hectic and rugged schedule of medical school that required many years of long hours and very little sleep.
To most who dream of becoming a surgeon, this would have been a deterrent but to Dr. Kinal, it was a necessary discipline that would put him in a position where he could be most useful in a world of the disadvantaged and unfortunate.
By the time he reached high school age he had already decided that he wanted to be a cosmetic surgeon and had drafted the blue prints of a plan to achieve professional excellence.
They often say that your actions speak louder than words and Dr Kinal’s past, working, as a volunteer to gain experience, is most impressive.

To prepare himself for medical school Adam spent much of his time creating various ways to help children with leukemia by founding and serving as Vice President for the “Friend’s For Life”, F.S.U Chapter in Florida where he raised money and awareness for pediatric leukemia patients.
His never-ending thirst for knowledge and experience led him on to volunteer at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital in Florida as a volunteer in the Emergency Dept. In 2003 he joined the International Medical Outreach and collected medical supplies as well as setting up clinics to provide medical care in villages in Jamaica.

Adam graduated Florida State University with his bachelors in Biology as well as Chemical Science and then went on to study medicine at the University of South Florida College of Medicine. A year after starting medical school in 2004 at the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa, Florida Dr. kinal began working as a camp counselor for 44 children ages 14-18 with Type 1 Diabetes in 2005.
Never satisfied or tempted to take the easy road he went on to complete his Residency at the University of Southern California in General Surgery. He felt this was the best place to gain the most knowledge and soon learned that his choice afforded him the relentlessly demanding experience he expected and longed for to fulfill his goals.
Much of his training was at Los Angeles County+USC Medical Center, one of the largest public hospitals and medical training facilities in the United States. The vast majority of his working experience was at the Los Angeles County Hospital which is known for its hectic trauma center making sure Dr. Kinal was prepared at all times for even the worst of situations.
He also trained at USC University Hospital, C.H.L.A- Children’s Hospital, Good Samaritan Hospital and Kaiser West Los Angeles.
His time at these highly active hospitals also gave him invaluable experience in the arena of plastic/reconstructive surgery, breast cancer surgery, pediatric, laparoscopic surgery, hepatobiliary, colorectal, bariatric surgery, transplants, cardiothoracic surgery, skin cancer, head and neck surgery as well as endocrine surgery.
All of Dr. Kinal’s hard work and diligence paid off and he went on to complete a Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship at one of the busiest and best surgical practices nationwide, where he has worked on over 1200 cases during the Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship program (Cosmetic surgery is a unique disciplined specialized category of medicine solely focused on enhancing a patient’s appearance through surgical and medical techniques). See more about Cosmetic Surgery.
The Fellowship at Southern Surgical Arts in Chattanooga, TN and Calhoun, GA, is one of the most sought after in the U.S and Dr. Kinal trained with two nationally known and highly respected surgeons, Dr. Carey Nease and Dr. Chad Deal successfully performing over 1200 cases in one year alone.
Dr. Kinal is a Board-Certified General Surgeon with the American Board of Surgery and is a Board Certified Cosmetic Surgeon with the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, holding a medical license in 4 states including California, Tennessee, Georgia, and Florida.
On a lighter note, Dr. Kinal likes to relax at home spending time with family and friends and their two little dogs Pepper and Foxy, where he loves to play guitar, follow his favorite sports teams or get outdoors for hiking, kayaking and long walks enjoying nature.
All of Dr. Kinal’s fondest childhood memories were of growing up in South Florida, so he stayed focused on returning to his native ground of Fort Lauderdale to establish his own practice and serve the South Florida community with his passion, knowledge, experience and dedication to the field of cosmetic surgery.
