Scott Moradian, D.O.

About The Practice

Coming from a family of mixed backgrounds in Iran, Syria, and America, Dr. Moradian was introduced at a young age to the arts.  He has translated his love for arts, poetry, and culture into his cosmetic surgery and weight loss-surgery practice with an emphasis on creating an image of beauty that is tailored to each individual patient.

Dr. Moradian is a native Floridian who grew up in Orlando.  He graduated Summa Cum Laude with Honors while obtaining his Bachelor’s degree in BioMedical Sciences from the University of South Florida in Tampa.  Continuing his education, he graduated top of his medical school class with Summa Cum Laude honors at Nova Southeastern University in South Florida.  He then completed his surgical residency in Miami Florida at Larkin Community, Palm Springs, Delray Medical Center, and Nichalous Children’s Hospital where he served as the Chief Surgical Resident.

After completing and obtaining his board certifications in General Surgery, Dr. Moradian completed his Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship through the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery completing over 800+ cases focusing on safe Brazilian butt lifts, liposuction with abdominal etching, breast lifts and reductions, breast augmentations, tummy tucks, mommy makeovers, gluteal augmentations with implants, facial injections, as well as many more procedures.

Dr. Moradian is the only surgeon in Florida to be Double Board Certified through the prestigious American Board of Osteopathic Surgery and the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery offering his specialization in Weight-loss surgery and the subsequent Cosmetic Surgery with body-contouring that ensues after one year of stable weight loss.  This allowed him to bridge the gap the was created between weight loss surgery and the subsequent cosmetic surgery that was needed after his patients would lose massive amounts of weight and regain control of health in their lives.

Dr. Moradian continues to practice general surgery and giving back to those patients in the most critical need of care while being an Associate Professor of Surgery by teaching residents at Larkin Community and Palm Springs Hospitals located in Miami Florida.

Throughout his years of training, he placed an emphasis on research and presenting at numerous conferences.  This has enabled him to safely offer the most cutting edge surgical advances to his patients with the most desirable results.  During his career, he has published and presented in over 15 areas of surgery spanning from plastic to general surgery.

In addition, he was co-author in the development of three skin grafts that are utilized in the acute traumatic setting.  This set the stage for Dr. Moradian to gain recognition throughout the country by being the only surgeon to win the prestigious Most Outstanding Presenter at the Annual Clinical Assembly of Osteopathic Surgeons in back-to-back years.  Additionally, he presented and won Most Outstanding Presenter for his work on Skin Grafts in the Traumatic setting on a world stage at the International College of Surgeons 79^th Annual Assembly in Seattle Washington.

Dr. Moradian enjoys golfing, diving, running with his dog Tyson, snowboarding, and spending time with his loved ones.  He has a dream of one day opening a recreational sports center in an under-served area due to the effects basketball and football had on his development as an adolescent teaching him life skills of teamwork, dedication, and benefits of hard work.
